NO. 05 · LEDGERBOX · OWN PRODUCT · IN USE SINCE JULY 2026 · AR

Every month I dug invoices and receipts out of Gmail and Outlook by hand. Now an email to my accountant sits ready in Outlook for every invoice. All I do is press send.

Starting point
Two mailboxes, invoices in all sorts of languages and currencies, and manual work every month to get them together.
What I built
An app that finds every invoice and receipt in Gmail and Outlook, reads it with AI, notes which card or account paid it, converts foreign currencies to euros at the rate on the invoice date, and drafts one email to the accountant per invoice in Outlook. A month only counts as "complete" once every mailbox has reported it was read in full. If a mailbox drops out, the app says so, instead of quietly reporting an empty month.
Who uses it
Me, for my own company.
Reads and writes in
Reads Gmail and Outlook. Writes drafts in Outlook.
Built with
Next.js, Postgres, Microsoft Graph, Gmail API, Claude by Anthropic, Vercel.
From start to live
28 June to 2 July 2026.

This is the clearest example of what I mean by "on top of what you already have": the result lands in Outlook, where I already am. There is no new screen to log into.
